This app makes taking attendance and keeping attendance records a breeze. It takes a while to get the hang of it but the online support is great! I recommend it.

To ChrissieBarnes: The first thing to try is rebooting your device. That solves a number of problems with many apps. If that doesnt help, backup your Attendance data to Dropbox, delete the app, and then reinstall the app, and restore your data from Dropbox. I dont have any other reports of frequent lockups so I suspect something is wrong on your device and one of those suggested fixes will likely take care of it. To TribalDancer: My email address is in the help is on the Instructions tab of Attendance, and the Website/FAQ help section of Attendance2. While Attendance2 does have some of the features you request, neither app is designed for the use where each student does not regularly attend each class. The first paragraph of the description of Attendance has stated since February (6 months before Attendance2 came out) that the new app would be released in the summer of 2012.

I think I must have read a review that praised this app over the updated Attendance2? Im not sure, but after trying it out for the first time, about 3 weeks after purchasing it, Im realizing that some of the functions that Attendance is supposed to have would be much better! Waste of $5 unfortuntely because now I need to buy Attendance2 after only using the first version for 20 minutes.

I just bought this app because a professor friend recommended, but when I added a student, then attempted to "add pic from library" I get a blank screen and cannot go back. I exited the app and reopened, but it sent me to the same blank screen. I rebooted my iPhone 5S and attempted to add the pic from library to a student and it gave me the same blank screen.

This is an ok app that Ive used for several years in various versions. The most annoying current flaw, however, is that I cannot add photos to student profiles -- which is sort of the point of the app, after all. When I go to add photos from library I get a blank and unresponsive screen, and I have to manually exit the app in order to get out of it. Can the developers please fix this annoying limitation?
