This app delivers all I was looking for since I got my iPad. You students be impressed! :-)

1)Allow me to completely remove dropped student, and (2)make the late button record a timestamp so I can review just how late my student was. That would make this app 5 stars

I wish I could give this app 4.75 stars ; ) Its functionally really nice. Its exactly what I needed to take attendance for my college classes. Having the photos there is ideal for the first weeks of class. The interface is okay. If it had Apple polish, this app would be a 5 star. Good work Mr Reed.

I teach in a program in which the students work on individualized study plans and, for various reasons, arrive at different points during two hour classes when I can be anywhere in the classroom. My attendance recording methods --whether using a laptop or several paper and pencil methods -- always seemed flawed. The best previous method was a notebook in my pocket (and a constant search for the latest lost pencil). So far, this app is the easiest, most reliable and overall best method for me. I have tried enough apps to expect that the report function doesnt really do what is promised - This one, however, produces accurate and convenient reports with a choice of formats.

That was exacly what I needed.

This app allows me to take attendance, track details about each individual student via the note section and in short I can keep track of everything I need to with the many options. Great technical support of the app makes this the best attendance tracker around and well worth the price.

One of the first apps I purchased after getting my iPad. Works very well. A bit of a learning curve to figure out how to import class lists. Once done, however, app is quite intuitive. Nice job.

I bought this over a year ago, and the updates since then have made this a 6 * app. It is really that good! And the best part, I have emailed Dave (the developer) twice over 2 questions, and heard back from him within HOURS!, not days or weeks. As a teacher it works perfect and is a must for any teacher with an iPhone/iPad. GREAT APP! Easily worth twice the price.

I cant understand why they wouldnt give you the option to enter your class list without having to import a file.

Seems to do everything I need it to. I like being able to email the absent report to my office so easily... Still lots to explore and test in this app.

I use it everyday. Great randomizer. Keeps all students focused because no one knows who will be chosen to give an idea.

My clients are at multiple sites, and, as a facilitator, I set up the consultation space each time I go to work. With "Attendance" I am able to take preliminary notes, make global anecdotal comments, and create custom rating scales to quickly take note of progress and follow-up points with a stable, well-written app. Plus, the price is right. If you are careful about your back-ups, as any competent knowledge worker should be, you will be very happy with the organized, positive results of using "Attendance".

Metadata transfer becomes a drama between iPhone and iPad. All I wanted was to transfer some class students photos and names. After purchasing another app and loads of go and fro between gadgets and DropBox I failed. MetaData transfer should have been much simpler.

Great application! Using it on my classes constantly. Only one drawback: you cant set marks to the students at all.

Great for keeping attendance and quickly grouping students.

Though the app packs a decent set of features, they are packed in a very unintuitive manner. Even while performing simple functions, one can easily get lost in the various menus. The app is crying for a re-design.

I really like this app. Im a volunteer teacher in Mongolia and one of my biggest problems is learning all my students names (many names can be used for boys and girls). So with Attendance I have my class list with their pictures. I like the simple design of Attendance. And although Im pretty new to the iPhone/iPod interface, I didnt have any trouble learning to navigate the different screens. Another great plus is that David, the developer is always quick to respond to emails. In my book, its a 5 star. Looking forward to seeing what other features come in future versions.

Thank you for your greatest "student managing app!" This app is perfect app for checking and reviewing "student attendance". But lack of mobileme sync is a little bit inconvenient to use in ipad and iphone simultaneously . Please support for "syncing through mobileme" next version.!! But your app is number one of all "student managing" apps in appstore. Thanks a lot.

I can honestly say that this is the best App that I have ever downloaded. It is extremely useful. It is not one of those apps that will just occupy space in your phone. I use it everyday to take attendance at my job and it makes life a lot easier. The app also has an outstanding developer who keeps the app updated and its very much willing to take into consideration any input that users may have to make any additions to the app. Buy this app, is the best $4.99 youll ever spend.
